his public defender is saying that he most likely get 9-16 months and he has already served 6 and has yet to be arraigned. he has no prior record and the robbery was unarmed. he supposedly got away with 7 grand. i was just wondering how realistic is it for him to get 9-16 months considering this crime? it seems like too much of a lenient sentence for a crime like this. please answer if u have knowledge of the law and please serious answers only!

i live in pa and I’m a correctional officer i never heard of a sentence like that are u sure it’s not 9 to 16 years that makes more sense,
Not trying to be mean, but you need to get better friends.
At least. He has serve some of his time.. They will count. time he has already served. As time served..
If he’s been locked up, charged with bank robbery and incarcerated for 6 months, then he has been arraigned. More than likely if his PD is saying 9-16 it is years, not months.
