I am doing a science project and I need to find out if solar panels are an environmentally feasible way to heat a pool compared to the #2 diesel that is currently being used. Is there a calculator that I could use to see how much energy a solar panel uses?

Solar panels don’t use energy they capture it (inefficiently.)
Yes, its called Meditation.
What do you mean? Solar panels don’t USE energy, they MAKE it!! So the question would be how much energy does it take to heat the pool (in kWh), then you could figure out how many solar panels (and at what wattage) you would need, in order to heat the pool.
This website has a calculator to help you with your answer:

(I think you need to know the size of the pool and other numbers though)
Good luck with your science project, I hope you do great!
you can’t measure the planet with out a real scientist
It is far more efficient to use solar heaters to capture heat as heat.
