…..beliefs among American, Bible-believing Christians?
If not, how do American Christians who deny evolution explain why God would appear independently for each such “deficient species” to “intelligently design” them to have the same errors preventing proper enzyme production for the manufacturing of vitally important Vitamin C?
Did God do this to “test the faith” of us Christians who would be confounded by this clear evidence of evolutionary mechanisms and shared origins?

OPTIONAL EXPLANATORY MATERIAL:
After all, it is one thing to ignore the countless “missing links” by simply repeating as a mantra “There are no fossil examples of transitional species” but to ignore the shared coding segments (especially the obvious copying errors like the one that has deprived humans and apes of manufacturing their own Vitamin C) which can be directly “read” and compared in various human and mammalian DNA maps and “genomic encyclopedias” online is very hard to deny.
So do you think that human genome breakthroughs — especially when emphasized and explained by evolution-advocating but Bible-believing Christians like Dr. Francis Collins, Founding Director of the Human Genome Project and now director of the National Institute of Health — will bring the rest of American Evangelicals (if not their more hardcore Fundamentalist colleagues) to an acceptance of “evolutionary creationism” (the term many Christians prefer to “theistic evolutionists)?
In other words, will genomic discoveries finalize American Christian acceptance of evolutionary biology as compatible with the Bible after decades of fossil discoveries simply produced more stalemates? (Will DNA evidence do for the theory of evolution among Christians what Galileo’s evidence provided to convince past Christian opponents of a heliocentric solar system that the Biblical text did not deny modern astronomy?)

CONCERNING THE “BEST ANSWER” & HIS CHALLENGE:
>They still haven’t even got one example of a genetic mutation of evolutionary process which can be >seen to increase the information in the genome.
Uhhh…..sorry to embarrass you in this way but there are plenty of examples. If you deny them, let’s hear your explanation for how the frame-shift mutation in the nylon-eating bacteria known as Flavobacterium is not a recently observed, modern-day example of exactly that (a gain in information). I am willing to be bold in my demand because I spent much of my life denying such mutations until I quit reading anti-evolution propaganda and actually studied the science. You should be familiar with the Flavobacterium example because it has gotten so much news coverage. (Haven’t you ever wondered why renowned and brilliant Bible-believing Christians like Dr. Francis Collins, Found

Nope. Creationists will cling to Creation no matter how much evidence you present to them.
You don’t know the power of the dark side.
Yes, Its already happening. Ken Miller is a Christian, and also a Biologist. He was also involved in the Kitzmiller. vs Dover board of education case, where he destroyed creationism, in favor of Evolution.
When their rejection of evolution, starts making them look overwhelmingly unreasonable, and irrational, they will start saying that it’s ok to accept evolution. This has happened with other scientific discoveries, as you pointed out, and will continue to happen. They will just be behind the times till they do accept it. That is why the current form of Christianity looks different than it did during the crusades; inquisition; and the dark ages.
Christians are very good at the “god of the gaps”, making their god fit into any hole in human knowledge. It’s a very pitiful, weak argument, and way of thinking, but it seems that they’re able to accept that kind of reasoning.
The last Christian I had a discussion with told me that evolution happened, the exact way that scientists say it did, but that God was working in the background guiding mutation, and natural selection to arrive at the species that are alive today, and also to make his favorite creation Humans………
ZZZZZZZZZZzzz No zzzZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ
That could only happen if anti-evolutionism were rational.
But its emotional.

You are trying to compare intelligent to faith/belief. The two have nothing to do with one another. But then that is why when we try and argue with intelligence they fail to follow even the slightest part.
