A good place to start is simply using Google. I have found tons of information out there concerning solar panel systems that are helpful.
If you run it through a search engine you’d get enough results to keep you reading for years. Word of mouth is a good way to find out about tried-and-true places.
One option for solar panels is a company called Citizenre. http://renu.citizenre.com They come to your house, install the panels, and maintain them all at no cost to you. You pay monthly for the amount of solar energy you consume — just like you would pay monthly for traditional electric.
Citizenre sets a fixed monthly rate. When electric costs increase, your monthly charge remains the same. Essentially you are “renting” the panels from Citizenre as opposed to buying them yourself & hassling with the install.
Their website has a bunch of information on why energy has become a problem, why solar energy is a strong solution, of course about their company, and much much more.
I’m still investigating this Company myself, sounds intriguing!
Hope that helps!
