Solar Panel: How Does One Use Energy Produced From A Solar Panel..? (9/21/2011)

in Solar Panel

For instance, if I were to purchase the solar panel below – or any solar panel for that matter – how would I be able to use the energy it produces to charge/energize my computer, etc..?

You would need a convert to change the Current then store it in a battery.

Use the power from the battery to charge or use your computer.

Very simple. If you want use to use a solar panel you will need an inverter to convert high current from the panels to 120 VAC. Then is ready for your computer. If you want know more please check the link below for more info.
