Solar Products: Do You Charge Solar Panelled Lights With The Switch On Or Off? (10/8/2011)

in Solar Products

We got a set of solar powered lights for outside, but i am not sure if you need to have the switch on the solar panel to ‘On’ before it will start charging? The only thing is, when you turn it ‘On’ it also turns the light on – So does it charge when it’s set to ‘Off’ and you just turn it on when you want the lights on?

Thanks

The lights will be charging all the time that the panel is in enough light.
The lights will discharge all the time the switch is on.

They will discharge faster than they charge, so turn the lights off when you dont need them.

They charge automatically, however you should turn them on for an hour once a month to keep them in good condition.
