The Nevada project is sponsored by Los Angeles-based SolarReserve LLC, whose investors include Citigroup, U.S. Renewables Group, Good Energies, Credit Suisse, Nazarian Enterprises and Argonaut Private Equity, which had a major stake in Solyndra.
PCG Asset Management also is listed as one of the company’s investors. That company’s board of directors includes Ronald Pelosi, the brother-in-law of House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi, California Democrat.

The article you posted yourself says that this has nothing to do with solyndra.
So you are saying that because there was one failure on the industry we now should never, ever do anything with alternative energies?

Why do we STILL subsidize the oil industry even though it is the MOST profitable in the world?

No if they would took only 400,000 of that money and gave those over 50 in age one million tax free to retire it would create 40 million new jobs, they would have to buy an American car, and buy a house or pay off their current mortgage. The US problems would be solved, but Congress cant figure and it looks like educated Obama cant do anything except double talk on a question to where you forget what was asked. I see why he was a great debate in Harvard and fooled us into voting for him. Cain has my vote in 12
