I was thinking about building a Wind turbine for my house, but couldn’t find anything about them legal wise. Is there some kind of permit I need? What’s the max height I can build?

HI
Rooftop wind turbines offer a relatively inexpensive way to participate in the rush to renewable energy. The principle allure is low installation cost. Typically, tower installations for larger turbines add 50 80 to the cost of the system. With a rooftop turbine, an $ 800 tower is replaced by a $ 39 roof mounted tripod, or a length of pipe attached to the side of the house.
Try http://www.enhancegreenenergy.com. They have a special report on how to build wind turbines systems for tourist sites, plus considering worst case scenario if you don’t have any wind for 4 days. Hopefully it’ll give you some guidelines
I think they will be happy with you, you’re going to help the electrical company after building your own wind turbine as you’ll produce your own electricity yourself and will save the environment as well
