The Solio Classic solar charger costs $ 99.95 http://www.rei.com/product/764524
Read the reviews first. It requires a lot of direct sunlight (solar, duh), and no one mentioned attaching it to a backpack, though at 5.8 ounces I’m sure it’s doable.

Have you considered hand crank power? http://www.thetravelinsider.info/roadwarriorcontent/sidewinder.htm

Or mini wind-mill power? http://www.motherearthnews.com/Alternative-Energy/1993-06-01/A-Wind-Powered-Energy-Charger.aspx
