Go to your college or public library website. Use their database (you will need either a student ID card or a library card) and look for magazine databases. If you don’t have the card, then you need to go to the library and get one.

It’s so sad that kids aren’t being taught to do real research in school so they would know how to do that.

The research desk at your local community college (if they have not be the victim of budget cuts) can point you in the right direction.

Most search engines have an advanced feature that allows you to select the type of site you are seeking information from. Put in .gov and .edu to narrow your search.

NREL is the federal laboratory dedicated to the research, development, commercialization and deployment of renewable energy and energy efficiency technologies. Their site has a lot of information and links to research data.
