If your main goal is for it to be cheap, you will not be getting high efficiency cells.
What you need to be doing in the planning stages of your project is figure out how much power you will need. Then, either the solar cell(s) must supply all of it, or you must charge a battery. Either powering your project, or charging your project’s battery, will determine how many and what size solar cells or panels you need to buy.
