Did Congress approve this we been told those crumbling bridges would be fixed two adn a half years ago. if the government stays out and allows the private sector companies that get the bids to do the infrastructure then no telling how many jobs would be created with that type money. Probably as high as 700,000.
Clean solar energy is great but it looks like a bad investment one went bankrupt and this one that got $ 1.2 Billion lost $ 150 million and with only 15 employees. then again you got the CEO, Vp etc and they make a lot. LOL

yeah, but that was for renewable energy! we can’t just keep drilling for oil and….aw shoot! I can’t keep that up. I wonder how the OWS idiots do it! we need to “drill baby drill”, to steal a phrase
Every tine you put gas in your car the Federal an State gas tax is for infrastructure .It amounts to billions every month an where is it, guess it got borrowed like social security did.
$ 4 billion dollars is not going to touch infrastructure. My husband used to do infrastructure and it costs $ 10million dollars for just one mile of new road. That’s pricing from 2008. It’s higher today because of the new Bacon/Davis law.
I think Obama missed a huge opportunity with the stimulus. Had every single dollar went to infrastructure unemployment would have stayed right where it was. That’s where jobs are needed. The construction industry got hit so hard.
This was all a political ploy costing the taxpayers trillions. They continue with this farce. The jobs are not ‘shovel ready’, never were shovel ready and are not now shovel ready. Also, thes jobs if ever created are not for the most qualified and willing to work, they are to advance one of Obama’s major contributors, the Unions with their salaries and pensions we all pay for until we are six feet under.
