to run an electric space heater for heating a 5th wheel? I close off the bedroom/bath and the ‘toybox’ area and just heat the living/kitchen area. (approx 14′ x 11′) I don’t have a heater on all night, just need the heat for cold days and evenings.
If you are an experienced RV’er and have other expense-sparing tips for heating an RV..they would be appreciated.

Solar panels will not provide nearly enough power for even the smallest electric heaters; sorry.
The biggest improvement will be from added insulation as RV insulation is minimal.
The roof can be painted with one or two liberal coats of an insulating material; one brand is Cool-seal. Adding roof insulation can make a big difference.
