Solar energy is light captured from sun. It is used for anything from powering cars to heating homes. I tis obtained from solar panels on roofs etc.
Solar can work in two ways your watch or calculator. has a thing that converts the sun energy directly to electricty. That is all I know without doing research. Well good luck with what sounds like a project or paper!
