im writing a paper for school on alternative fuels and power sources and one form is wind power using wind turbines and i saw on a commercial that one wind turbine can power a certain amount of homes so i guess my question is how many houses can one wind turbine power?

I often see similar ads. But they are very vague and misleading.
Wind turbines come in lots of different sizes. so do houses. Smallest wind turbine won’t even power a fraction of one house.
Largest one is 8 MW, which would power 2000 typical homes.
