I am out of contact with the co. of solar panels.
Just a little info on my experience. Deep in the Ecuadorian jungle on the top of a mountain I installed $ 10,000 worth of panels. The site was very remote and the only way there was in a helicopter. Got it all installed at much expense and about 2 months a wind storm blew the panels all over the jungle. So we had to do it again. Make it strong.
Hi. Hear is a site with info on using sterling engines heated by collectors that might get you through. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Solar_power and this is why a sterling engine makes it work http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stirling_engine
There were some popular science/ Discovery articles about solar farms and there was a large scale Australian proposal. I’d take a look at Solar energy panels and heat absorption cell prices to write something up quick. I’d also put in a note that your proposal isn’t optimized. I’ll write more when I get some time.
