I believe they need at least Bachelor’s Degrees to actually attain that job. It isn’t rocket science at all as long as you know what you are doing. Keep in mind, a geothermal power plant can only operate efficiently where there is geothermal activity.
Workers work – they can be high school drop outs. The foreman would come down the line and tell them what to do – and I imagine they’d do it.
If you PLAN geothermal energy stations like Gore wants to do, it would take a savvy drill operator – steam fitters – electricians – concrete workers and a whole bunch of other people.
I SURE wish we could get going on some of this stuff now that we have democrats running things! I live in a state with a LOT of volcanoes.
