We pay a fortune in Oil subsidies so what wrong with having tax refunds ( the government does not pay you, you pay less in tax) to lower the cost of owning your own power plant on your roof with solar PV?

This is coming up more and more today. I’ve yet to see a link to a single “oil subsidy.” Put up or shut up.
I don’t believe in subsidies in any form, it is a form of manipulation by government for the benefit of special interests.
I’m totally against oil subsidies.. Oil is a dead end, any subsidy should be going to oil’s replacement.. and pronto!
