Guess tearing down the Berlin Wall was more important.
That had to be the dumbest decision made by that moron in the 8 years of office. Above and beyond trading missiles to our enemies, for hostages.
We would be much better off at this point, if people had spent 5 seconds listening to Carter talk about alternative energy sources, rather than spending 30 minutes badmouthing him.
History will show that Carter was right and the Berlin wall was going to fall anyway, regardless of Reagan.

We’d pretty much be right where we are right now. And you’d have to provide some back-up for that statement because I was around then I don’t recall that.
And the USSR would have fell on its own, but not under a Carter or a Clinton, they in fact would have prolonged its life. You can be in denial all you want, but Reagan did beat the Soviets into the ground with our wallets and caused their fall before its time.
