I was curious on the price of maintenance of panels, and the Rebate that the Australian Government offers.This is in terms of installing panels for a typical residential home in Melbourne. And will Solar Panels save you money? If so how much will it save you, and how long will it take for it to pay off.
PLEASE tell me everything about Solar Panels! How they work etc…
Thanks in advance.

your answer is with the maker, not here. Not all are the same working life and cost. Unless you have motors to turn them efficiencies are only peak for a few hours per day. Would check the makers and get the answers. Also customer feed back will also help. I would list the sites, but fear being marked as spamming.
there are a lot of pros such as lower power bill and better for environment but here in australia, they are soo expensive to install, no wonder no ones switching
i’m pretty sure theres a government website which discusses the pros and cons in detail but i wouldnt know its name..and in the long run they save a fair bit of money because of the reduced electricity consumption to run the home
also greenpeace australia would probably have a fair bit of info
The only PRO is they make electrical power from the sun.
The CONs are they cost a lot up front. If you live in and area that has cloudy/rainy weather, they may never pay for themselves before required replacement.
Here are some of the pros of solar panels:
* Federal and state tax credits
* Lower energy bills
* Sale of any unused power generated to the utility company
* No environmental pollution
* Sunlight does not cost anything
Here are the negatives to using solar panels:
* The initial purchase cost may be high, sometimes running up to one hundred thousand dollars for a very large home with high energy needs
* Installation costs are additional
* The most efficient panels usually cost more
* Crystalline panels are fragile, so they require additional protection and can be easily broken
* Thin film panels are less fragile, but are also less effective
