Solar Turbines: What Career Works With Creating Energy Like Wind Turbines? (5/23/2012)

in Solar Turbines

I would like to learn about geo engineering but i don’t know what path I need to be directed to. Im 19 and haven’t started college yet. I would like to know about creating energy from the wind or from waves as a earth friendly energy source. Thank you

you would probably end up going like civil engineering with an emphasis in environmental, or some schools just straight out offer an environmental engineering degree. there might even be an opportunity to be a chemical engineer with an emphasis on the environment. mechanical also works if you’re interested in more of the building behind it. mat sci if you want to deal with the chemicals and the basic building structure of it. the options are really open as long as you pick the concentration, which would in this case be alternative energy.
