Why are they voting for the Party of Big Oil? (Repubs get 9x the money Dems do from Big Oil.)
Germans passed a law that the bank has to offer a mortgage, a ten year mortgage, on installation of solar power — guaranteed by the government. Now about 1/3 of German homes have solar and Germany expects to be energy independent by the end of the decade. Why aren’t we all pushing for that?
@Daniel – Drilling here is no solution. Oil is finite and dirty. Wind and solar are renewable and clean.
@Wally Woggie — Wrong. Big Oil gives 9x as much to Repubs. There’s no question that the Big Oil Party is Repubs. Dems like unions, remember?

Hmm…..interesting and amazing that this is only the first time I have read this question….
I would guess its because most of what people think they stand for is all lies and smoke. Politicians go where the money is. They care nothing for preservation and good ideas.
It’s a good thing liberals don’t drive cars like the rest of us. I support drilling in our land, since we have plenty of it. Then I wouldn’t have to spend 20% of my paycheck on gas.
1st. Conservatives have nothing against Muslims, just Islamic-Fascist Extremists, and so should you.
2nd. Big Oil supports the Democrats almost equally. Keep up.
You want to “push” people to buy something, or do you mean force people to buy something?
It would be great to have wind, solar, fart, etc., energy, but until it is economically viable it is but a pipe dream.
BTW, it is the islamo-facists that are hated.
Because they are nowhere near efficient enough to pull the load that oil is doing.
We aren’t against Muslims, we are against terrorists. As for wind and solar, it still can’t produce what we need as a whole, so some oil is still going to be needed. If the Moonbat Messiah is so against oil, why does he ban our country from drilling in our own gulf then hand it over to another country to do freely? Think before you type.
