The best solar charger you can get, and it will charge your ipod, phone and much much more is one of the solio hybrid chargers.
These will store excess charge in an internal battery so you can use them at anytimoe; they are called hybrids as you can also charge the internal battery from a mains socket if you need too. they can be quite expensive but you can sometimes pick up one within your budget
