The best information on solar energy is found with search engines, all types of guides on how to set it up.
Most of us shy away from installing solar power solutions at home thinking them to be expensive and cumbersome. You will, however, be surprised to know how easy it is to employ these power solutions. Solar energy is going to be the new wave of the future.
Information on solar energy is everywhere, these will help cut down your power bills. Finally, you will be delighted to know tat you are doing your bit to save power for the future generations.
Information on solar energy can be found so easily. A solar home lighting system converts solar energy into electrical energy for your home. This is done via cells that are charged with solar energy. So, in the night, if you wonder how the lights are on in the house, it is because of the solar energy stored in the solar cells. You can install the solar home lighting system in your house and not worry about the electricity bills anymore. More information on solar energy can be easily found via search engines.
Wikipedia is always a good start for an overview of any subject: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Solar_energy
There are basically two applications of solar energy: heating and generating electricity. Just about anything you want to know is available free, either on the internet, or by calling a solar installer. You should never have to pay a dime to anyone. If you have a specific question, try searching previous Yahoo Answers, or post the detailed question.

You can find all sorts of energy. One of your best bets will actually be National Geographic. They have all kinds of articles about solar power. Also, Scientific American, Omni, and Odyssey work as well.
Google much?
Modern search engines makes it trivial to find information though sometimes you have to enter synonyms for what you’re looking for and read some of the results to determine what’s a better word or phrase to search for.
Ever wonder how people found information before the web? Libraries, hobby clubs, and even just phoning companies in the yellow pages worked just fine back then and should work now as well.
I’m amazed at how terrible the university students are at researching these days. Imagine what could be done today if they had half the imagination in terms of searching for information that the generations that built our freeways, our hydro dams, developed the atom bomb and took us to the moon did. They didn’t even have calculators back then, just funny pieces of wood with logarithmic scales printed on them. Students today can’t even graph functions without a graphing calculator so they don’t learn the important characteristics of what they are graphing. They don’t realize that the partial differential equations involved with the control system of a 747 was calculated with a ruler and a piece of semi-log graph paper, no wonder it costs billions for NASA to develop something today when it takes a cluster of computers to do what was once done on a napkin. Without the inherent understanding needed to perform the calculations without advance tools, the imagination becomes stilted and disconnected.
