With all the solar flares happening lately, and the incoming CME, is it safe to board a plane during this time? Since geomagnetic storms can affect telecommunications and possibly crash electrical power grids…
Don’t post any links providing information about Solar Flares, or CME… I already know my stuff. I just want to know if it’s 100% safe to fly during these, just like any other regular day.

Yes, unless you are at high latitude (so Norway, Greenland,)
It depends on how strong the storm was that hits earth…airlines get banned from flying in high latitudes if necessary so they re-route.
