not so bright but they’re a good energy safer
They can be a nice nice addition to a garden walkway. Don’t expect to light a house with them.
I bought 4, took out the white LED’s and installed red ones. I use them as night lights for my observing table. The AAA sized batteries that came with the ones I have last all night long and recharge fully during the day.
They emit a brighter light that filament bulbs (conventional bulbs) because they use light emitting diodes. This type of light does not generate heat thus the brighter light. They work best when the temperature is cold due to their solid state design. Check out the articles on this website. They might be of interest to you.
