Infrastructure: Needs to be fixed and that justifies trillions of dollars every few years to fix the same problems over and over when roads are fine.
Taxes: Poor pay none, middle class pays some but rich pay their fair share what ever that is.
Military: Us is an empirical nation and needs to be punished: Good for soldiers to die esp. when following the orders of evil Bush and Cheney.
Religion: Enemy of the lib because the worship of god means no worship of the govt: See global warming.

Anyone who is liberal simply wants the scope of government to increase–conservatives want the scope of government to stay where it is (or sometimes even shrink). I’m a moderate because idiots like you on both sides seem to put up the blinders when it comes to politics. I would rephrase your question as “are libs and cons capable of understanding that there’s more to politics than ad-hominem and finger-pointing?” People like you on both sides seem to think it’s more important to figure out who to blame for everything rather than working together to come to a reasonable solution for our crumbling healthcare and economic situations.
