earth receives approximately 174 peta watts of energy in the upper atmosphere.
30% of them is reflected back.
the energy absorbed is about 3,850,000 exajules per year.
if the absorbed percentage is increased dramatically, the earth’s temp will increase dramatically.
The amount of Petawatts (the amount of the energy earth receives from the sun) is 174.
70 % of the amount of solar energy is absorbed by the earth. The remaining amount reflected back is 30 %.
If the amount that is absorbed lets say 100% then it would increase the earths temperature. If that happens all life will be affected by it.
