Solar Producer: Why Do The Democrats Support Foreign Oil Companies Over Domestic Oil Companies? (6/30/2011)

in Solar Producer

The new energy bill proposal by the Democrats give foreign oil companies an unfair advantage over domestic oil companies. It just appears to make sense that if we used our own domestic oil and gas resources it would reduce our dependency on foreign producers. Why do the Democrats oppose that?
Wind and solar energy are great for the future but right now, we use oil and gas.

I don’t care about oil companies. Don’t worry, with two oil men in the white house the oil company record profits will continue.

Can you name ONE Oil Company that is stricly an American Oil Company and not an International one? Do you really think only Democrats are opposed to using our own oil? I mean, you’ve got a former Oil Man in the White House and you’re worried about the Democrats? Quit Trolling, Put your BS partisan politics aside and stop the rhetorical rantings.

Almost all oil companies are international in nature. They have to be since the Congress has so many restrictions on domestic oil exploration.

If the US had the political will, we could totally end importation of oil. We would have to open all our blocked areas of exploration: ANWR, eastern Gulf of Mexico, both offshore coasts of the US. During this 20 year period, while we depleted our domestic reserves, we would concentrate on developing alternative sources for the future and be energy independent forever.

If this ever happened (don’t hold your breath) the price of world oil would plummet since demand would go to 75% of current usage. The arabs would be eating their oil, begging us to buy it and return to the old system.

For aught I know that the costs of oil exploration by domestic companies are much more higher than foreign oil companies.
for instance: the wage of a Chinese oil worker only about 1/3 compare with a U.S. craft brother. that’s why so much bad and low price commodities from China which fulling of
U.S. market.
